''LOUIE THE MIGHTY"
II Timothy 4:7
"I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith."
Born 2003
Died February 23, 2013
. He was diagnosed Feb. 17th and the whole community made his last 5 days Heaven.
Louie February 21, 2013 enjoying some sunshine with mom and friends. Isn't he handsome you would never guess he was 10 yrs old with bone cancer or in the pain that he was in. We were very grateful for the moments he felt good and wanted to share with us. Doris would call me and I would come out to meet them. He was such a special soul, I called him "spirit dog". Louie had a special soul and anyone who knew could feel it. He was such a good heart.

Louie and Mom Doris on their last day together.
This is Bev "Bandit" mom. She had a special place in her heart for "Louie". This was their last Halloween together. Yup, that is our Louie in custom. He was a party animal.

Louie and Mo, our eldest resident. She is 95 yrs old. She came out to hug and kiss him farewell. Her heart was broken but she said “he won”t suffer anymore and now no one can hurt him again.”

Jeff the father of “Zeus” Louie’s canine neighbor. Giving a hug goodbye to a great friend. The world needs more “Mighty Louies”.

Louie loves Cha Cha but Cha Cha ain't having it. LOL!!! If Louie loved you , you were going to be loved.
This is his best friend Richard. They are sharing a last treat, hug and a kiss. We will miss him but Louie is in good spirits and so is the community. Louie was diagnosed with bone cancer. What we all thought was a broken nail turned out to be something we all wished it was not.
We love him so much. Louie was a service dog for 6 yrs for the blind. He was beaten almost to death by his previous owner. That man went to prison for 6 months for the injuries that Louie sustained.

But this is the incident that brought his loving mother “Doris” and “Miracle Trailer Park” into his life. I think Louie really happened to us and he was the miracle. Doris loved him back to life and trusting people again. He was the life of the party around here. He was quite the Casanova as well. Louie lived with Doris and us at Miracle Park for the last 4 years of his life. He went with God this morning February 23, 2013 at 9:00am in the arms of his mother Doris and his vet. We love you Louie and because of you we will make sure that no Service Dog suffers abuse without consequences again. His mother will be starting a cause. Louie the Mighty will always live in my heart.
Here is Louie with is Auntie SaraLan...sharing some well deserved kisses. Love goes a long way, in fact , love goes all the way. Thank you Auntie SaraLan and mom for all the love, and the joy and the wonderful life that you gave me. I will always be with you both.

Louie and Faith's last kiss goodbye...
on video.

Louie at the club house with Auntie Saralan, Mom, Jeff and Mo.

This picture was taken one day before he died. in fact most of this website was done within the 5 days before his death. We got together and took as many pictures with all his friends and went on as many of his daily walks and outings, meeting him at the club on as many occasions as we could for those 5 days just for "Louie". Love just can't sit down at moments like these and love doesn't...Louie didn't when we needed him.
Doris and Louies  last trip to the club house. Let us pray and support Doris in her loss. She is currently doing well after Louies passing and now only has Jasper. They are moving forward and are comforted with his loving memories and the joy that he left her life illuminated with. She will never forget Louie, he was her best friend. Even though Doris didn't have any handicaps she did need her big lovable friend who also guided her through a hard time of her life. Now that they have seen each other through pain and sorrow into sunshine and Heaven, life on earth and immortality in Heaven, because we all know that dogs like "Louie go to Heaven", will be what they both wanted for the other. Love is grand and in the end it does build a bridge that saves us. We are here for you Doris and we at "Miracle Park" thank you and Louie for the wonderful example of love and friendship that you both shared with us.

Please remember "Louie the Mighty" in your thoughts, prayers and efforts.
Any animal who becomes your eyes, your legs, your ears, your lifeline you owe your love to. They are now a
part of your very being. To hurt or beat such an animal is like hurting for beating yourself or someone that you love. This type of abuse should be severely punished and these animals that give so much of themselves deserves so much more from all of use. It doesn't matter the breed because these animals are trained by professionals and by professional establishments. The people who depend on them owe them their love and friendship at the very least. I have my red nose Pit Bull Faith and she has saved me many times by letting me know that I was in danger of a seizure and she just simply has lived with me since she was 8 weeks old. She is my life and my life line. I couldn't imagine not giving my good friend a wonderful life. Louie got that the last 4 years of his life with Doris. However, his previous owner did do time for the beatings and the injuries that put Louie through, this should never have happened. I ask please, if you see any Service animal being abused, please immediately report this to your local police, Human Society and Animal Control. Make it your business, make it everybody's business. May the world feel the courage of "Louie the Mighty" and take a stand. Thank you for your dedication and concern and Louie thanks you as well.
